1 9 4 6   Born in New York City
Raised in New Hyde Park, Long Island, NY
1 9 6 4   Attends Art School at University of Toledo (Ohio)
Moves on to Pratt Institute for Architecture
1 9 6 7   Transfers to Pratt's Art School
First trip to Europe: England, Ireland, France, where he is inspired by the art museums to pursue a career in the Arts
1 9 6 8   Works on a mural at the Hotel Pierre in New York with Edward Melcarth who becomes a great influence and introduces the young artist to the heroic schools of painting (specifically Venetian 17th Century) and the art of Trompe l'Oeil as well as the techniques of the Old Masters
  Meets John Loring with whom he will later live and collaborate on designs for Tiffany & Co.
1 9 7 0   Moves from Brooklyn to a SoHo loft
Becomes friends with Robert Hughes, Art Critic for Time Magazine who guides him in pursuing an individual painting style
1 9 7 2   First trip to Italy: Rome, Florence, Venice (living and working with Edward Melcarth)
  Meets Peggy Guggenheim (with whom he has the privilege of discussing abstract art over dinner) as well as Malcolm Forbes who starts collecting the artist's work, and the painter David Hill during restoration of theater murals in Cohoes, New York
1 9 7 5   Leaves New York for life in Europe: lives in Paris with David Hill and Canadian painter, Joseph Plaskett, both influencing him in figurative traditions
  Travels throughout Italy, exploring as many museums and churches as possible and learning great lessons about marbleizing and murals
1 9 7 6   Moves to TriBeCa, New York City
First exhibitions: with art dealer Julian Pretto and a show with Keith Haring in the East Village
1 9 8 0   Begins Decorative Painting career
1 9 8 1   Decoration of town house in New York for Lord Jermyn, Earl of Bristol
  Works on more faux finishes in Monte Carlo for the next year
  Throughout the 80s and 90s, works on designs for Tiffany & Co. (China, Scarves, table setting Backdrops)
  Meets Jacqueline Onassis, who graciously accepts one of the artist's painted props from a table setting as a gift
1 9 8 4 - 8 5   Murals for Tavern on the Green and Party of the Year at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, Annual Gala at Victoria & Albert Museum, London
  Group shows at various galleries including Hal Bromm's in New York
1 9 9 0 s More shows in Provincetown including two major solo exhibitions
1 9 9 8   Solo exhibit, Steem Gallery, New York City
